Description

OC Five Thread Paste is an oxygen compatible sealant designed for use in applications involving aggressive chemicals and oxidizers, such as chlorine. It is chemically inert and will withstand the toughest high-pressure applications in wet or dry conditions. Use OC Five in extreme temperatures where safety, downtime, and resistance to aggressive chemicals are a major concern.

OC Five is a high viscosity, oxygen safe thread sealant, and anti-galling agent with these properties:

— Tested and certified by The German Federal Institute for Materials Testing (BAM) for gaseous and liquid oxygen service
— Approved for use and listed in the resource manuals of the major industrial gas providers
— NSF approved for use in food processing facilities, classification S2
— Provides leak tight seals for high pressure applications, wet or dry
— Chemically inert, anti-galling, anti-seize, non-flammable, and non-corrosive
— Free of PFOA, PFOS, silicone, hydrocarbons, solvents, and odor
— Waterproof, non-hardening, non-migrating, non-hazardous, and non-toxic
— Stable over a wide temperature range – from cryogenic to over 260°C (over 500°F)
— Unaffected by chlorine, fluorine, sodium hypochlorite, and other harsh chemicals
— Safely prevents galling and damage of stainless steel, steel, and plastic pipes
— Easy to apply and remove on all types of threaded connections
